Woman arrested for assault

A Lincoln woman has been arrested for assaulting another woman with a knife.

Jontae Stephens, 30, was arrested for arrested for 2nd-degree Assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Police say during the course of the altercation the victim was cut several times on the right side of the body with a knife.

Stephens was lodged at Lancaster County Corrections.

The victim did not require medical treatment for her injuries.
