York County sees a drastic increase in DUI arrest, sheriff’s say

YORK, Neb. (KLKN) — The York County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) arrested an impaired driver after they crashed their car into the ditch.
On Oct. 25, deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident which resulted in a driving under the influence charge.
The driver had a .259 BAC, more than three times the legal limit.
YCSO said they have seen a drastic increase in impaired drivers over the past two months.
They said drivers can prevent crashes by calling 911 to report unusual driving behaviors.
