106-year-old woman becomes Vogue’s oldest ever cover model

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The April issue of Vogue Philippines will feature its oldest ever cover model.

106-year-old Apo Whang-Od has been mastering the art of hand-tapping tattoos ever since she was a teenager.

She is thought to be the oldest traditional Kalinga tattoo artist in the Philippines.

Whang-Od attracts many travelers with the majority of her clients coming from other countries.

Before her appearance, the oldest Vogue cover model was actress Judi Dench, who was 85 at the time.
