14-year-old from Lincoln commits to play baseball at Florida State

Kale Fountain hasn't even attended high school yet, but he knows where he's headed to play baseball in college. The 14-year-old from Lincoln committed to Florida State on Tuesday via Twitter.

LINCOLN – Kale Fountain hasn’t even attended high school yet, but he knows where he’s headed to play baseball in college.

The 14-year-old from Lincoln committed to Florida State on Tuesday via Twitter.

Fountain is currently in 8th grade and plans on attending Norris this fall.

According to his profile on perfectgame.org, Fountain is a 6-3, 180-pound infielder and pitcher. He’s the second commit of the 2024 class for the Seminoles, who made it to the College World Series in Omaha last year.
