18-year-old man climbs through female’s apartment and uses knife to chase out other male

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Around 11 a.m. today, Lincoln Police Department (LPD) was dispatched near the area of 7th and G streets. The report was of a person with a knife.

Upon arrival to the area, officers located Abdalah Hakrash, 18, in a vehicle. They performed a traffic stop and took him into custody.

After investigation, officers learned that Hakrash had climbed through an open window into the residence of an 18-year-old female victim known to him. He had a large kitchen knife on him with which he chased a 19-year-old male victim out of the residence and across the street.

Hakrash returned to the residence and took cash and a vape pen before leaving and getting in his vehicle.

Hakrash was arrested and lodged for terroristic threats, two counts of using a weapon to commit a felony, burglary and criminal trespass.
