2019 Nebraska Walk for Life

Even through the snowy and cold conditions, pro-life supporters from all across the state of Nebraska came together to Walk for Life Saturday morning.

“Well, it’s winter in Nebraska and it’s been colder but it also shows the dedication of all of these folks and how passionate they feel about protecting our unborn children,” Gov. Pete Ricketts said.

The Walk for Life started at the Nebraska State Capitol building and ended at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Student Union.

For the supporters, walking seven blocks through the cold was just a small price to pay.

“This is something I’m really passionate about. All life is precious and it’s worth protecting so I’m here to stand for the unborn and be a voice for all of the unborn children so I’m here to hopefully be the change and support life,” Pro-Life supporter, Nick Verdoni said.
