2021 Walk to End Alzheimer’s finds new home in Lincoln

A summertime event will help get things going well before the Walk in October.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the signature Alzheimer’s Association event in Lincoln each year. In 2021, it’s going to be an in-person event once again.

The Walk is October 10th, but before that happens, there’s a special summertime event to get people pumped: the first ever Walk to End Alzheimer’s Night at the Salt Dogs. That happens Saturday, May 29th. Tickets are $14, and half of every ticket goes to the Nebraska chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. You can buy the tickets at this link.

Even though the Walk itself is still a ways off, there’s plenty to be excited about. Being in-person again is a highlight, but so is the new location. For 2021, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is moving to Haymarket Park. It’s a bigger venue to support increased interest, and everyone at the Park is excited to be a part of the event.

If you just can’t wait, you can register for the 2021 Walk to End Alzheimer’s here.
