21 students injured in Otoe County crash
Authorities say nearly two dozen students were injured in a crash involving a school bus near Dunbar in Otoe County Wednesday.
The Nebraska State Patrol said the students on board a Nebraska City Public Schools bus suffered minor injuries. A total of 38 fourth-graders and four adults were on the bus, the patrol said. The four adults and 17 of the students were not injured.
NSP says a westbound vehicle was trying to turn from Highway 2 onto Highway 67 when it struck the bus.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the hospital in Syracuse with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
