75-year-old inmate dies in Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A 75-year-old inmate died Saturday at the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln.
Larry Loughry was convicted on charges out of Buffalo County that included first-degree sexual assault and five counts of possession of child pornography.
He was serving an 18-to-65-year sentence that began on March 3, 2006.
A grand jury will now conduct an investigation, as is the case whenever an inmate dies in the department’s custody.
