9 South CharGrill in Lincoln closes after 18 years of service
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A beloved Lincoln restaurant is closing its doors after almost two decades.
9 South CharGrill, which is on the northwest corner of 9th and South Streets, has served Lincoln for 18 years.
But now, the restaurant is shutting its doors for good, according to a sign on the building’s front door.
“We are permanently closed. Thank you,” the sign says.
The restaurant’s website has a similar message: “Thank you for 18 years. We are permanently closed.”
It is not clear what led to the restaurant’s closure, or when exactly it shut its doors.
