LLCHD reports two more COVID-19 deaths
LLCHD reported the deaths of a man in his 70s who was unvaccinated and not hospitalized and a man in his 80s who was vaccinated and hospitalized.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department reported two more COVID-19 deaths on Tuesday.

LLCHD reported a total of 467 lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, this is partial data due to technical difficulties at DHHS. From Saturday to Monday, LLCHD reported 1,232 COVID-19 cases.
Local hospitals currently house 134 COVID-19 patients, 44 coming from other communities and a total of 17 on ventilators.
Last Friday, Health Director Pat Lopez announced a new DHM will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15. The DHM lasts through Feb. 11. The new DHM includes a mask mandate for all individuals two and older regardless of vaccination status.
