Authorities said four people were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash southeast of Lincoln Friday morning.

The crash happened around 7:20 a.m. near 120th and Saltillo Road.

One vehicle rolled, and the other could be seen on its side in a cornfield. Both vehicles had heavy damage.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said one vehicle had four children and one adult inside, the other vehicle had one adult driver.

LSO identified the driver of a 2022 Ford Explorer as Michelle Phillips, 46, of Crete. Phillips was flown via StarCare to Bryan West in critical condition, but officials say her condition has stabilized.

Phillips had four school age children in her vehicle with two of them suffering minor injuries and they were transported by ground ambulance for treatment.

The other driver, identified as Phyillis Reinwald, 65, of Bennet, was alone in her vehicle and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Officials said restraints are believed to have been in use and alcohol was not a factor.
