Sarpy County to dedicate street in honor of Cpl. Daegan Page
The board will vote on the resolution at their meeting on Tuesday.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Sarpy County Board of Commissioners will be dedicating a street to honor fallen U.S. Marine Cpl. Daegan Page.
“We owe our deepest respects to those who serve our country, and Cpl. Page paid the ultimate price,” County Board Chairman Don Kelly said. “Because of his sacrifice, and his family’s ties to Sarpy County, we wanted to honor Cpl. Page and his family in a permanent way to help preserve his memory.”
A portion of Gertrude Street from 157th and Emiline Streets to South 162nd Avenue and Harrison Street will have a “Cpl. Daegan Page Street” designation.
The board will vote on the resolution at its meeting on Tuesday. The street sign will be unveiled this spring.
