Rifle found near apartment complex in Havelock
On October 22nd, shortly after 6 p.m., Lincoln Police responded to the area of 66th & Havelock Ave on a report of a rifle laying in the grass near an apartment complex.
Officers located a .22 caliber rifle next to a loaded magazine with 24 rounds in it.
Officers spoke to neighbors in the surrounding area, but no one claimed ownership.
The rifle had not been reported stolen.
Lincoln Police say if you can legally prove this rifle belongs to you, you may come claim it at the LPD Property Unit.
