Home hit in overnight shooting near downtown Lincoln

According to Lincoln Police, a home was hit in a shooting overnight near downtown.
Officers were called to the area of 7th & C Streets on reports of gunshots around 11:30 Tuesday night.
LPD found a bullet hole in the back of a home on the east side of a doorframe. The bullet went through the door and through a wall into the kitchen area of the house.
No shell casings were found in the area, and no one was injured in the shooting.
A 59-year-old man, 55-year-old woman, and their 17-year-old son were all inside the home at the time of the shooting.
One of the residents said they may know who would target their home. Because of this, Lincoln Police say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
