Two-vehicle crash in south Lincoln

Two people were sent to a local area hospital with minor injuries.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Old Cheney and Norman Roads on Wednesday.

A truck and car were involved in the crash, according to Lincoln Police.  Eastbound and westbound lanes on Old Cheney Road are now reopening.

Two people were sent to a local area hospital with minor injuries.

Lincoln Police say they believe the accident was caused by slick roads.  They are warning drivers to stay safe as roads become slicker throughout the evening.
