LFR crews respond to house fire in Near South neighborhood
The cause of the fire is unknown and currently under investigation.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – UPDATE: The 4-plex had $90,000 worth of damages, according to Lincoln Fire and Rescue.
LFR determined the cause of the fire to be unattended food on a stove.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews responded to a house fire in the Near South neighborhood on Tuesday.
Crews arrived at the house near 19th and A Streets and reported heavy smoke and fire from the back of the building, according to LFR.
Residents of the building were all outside when the crews arrived. One of the residents was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Two or three of the residents will possibly need to be relocated, LFR says.
