Bryce McGowens declares for the NBA Draft

The Big Ten Newcomer of the Year is leaving Nebraska after a season for the 2022 NBA Draft.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska basketball’s Bryce McGowens announced Monday morning he is declaring for the 2022 NBA Draft. McGowens spent one season playing for the Huskers averaging a team-high 16.8 points per game. He was named the AP’s Big Ten Newcomer of the Year and the Big Ten’s Freshman of the Week eight times.

The NBA Draft takes place on Thursday, June 23rd, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
