A little warmer today with clouds 3/24/2022
Eastern Nebraska is off to a quieter start this morning thanks to calmer wind speeds and dry conditions. Wind speeds are around 10-15 mph and this is just enough of a breeze to make it feel like the 20s. Grab your heavy coat and watch out for some snowflakes/rain showers if you live in far southeastern Nebraska. There is a very small chance for isolated rain/snow showers this morning, as the last of the large system pushes out of the area. Temperatures will be a bit warmer today with highs in the upper 40s and overcast skies. I still think there is a chance to see some sunshine this evening and around sunset, but clouds will linger around for most of the day. We also will have a bit of a breeze today with gusts around 20 mph, so this may make it feel cooler. Temperatures drop into the low 30s tonight with clearing skies and calming wind speeds. The conditions might produce some patchy fog, so prepare for reduced visibility in spots. Highs in the upper 5os and strong wind gusts above 40 mph return tomorrow. Temperatures continue to warm into the weekend and early next week.
