Course Ground Coffee is SCC’s first ever campus coffee shop

South East Community College is brewing up something special.

Their culinary program works hand in hand with the school’s new coffee shop.

It’s called Course Ground Coffee and it opened this semester. It’s in the beginning stages of their growth but are happy to be the first coffee shop on campus.

They do in house brews and have teamed up with SCC’s culinary classes for their pastry and sweet selections.

One manager says the response from faculty and staff has been amazing and she couldn’t be happier.

“This is in my opinion a one in a million chance to have gotten to take on kinda my dream roll at my alma mater straight outta college,” said Bailey Ahlberg.

Ahlberg graduated last year and has been involved from start to finish with the coffee shop.

The shop employs students right now but says that the public is able to apply when position open up.
