Police searching for suspect with knife who threatened store employees

Lincoln police are searching for a man who reportedly threatened grocery store employees with a knife Wednesday night.

Employees at the Russ’s Market at 17th and Washington told police they confronted the suspect, who had shoplifted some meat, outside the store. The employees said the man pulled a knife and threatened them before running away. 

Police said the man was known to the store’s workers and that officers are searching for him.
