Sam Haiby returning to Nebraska women’s basketball

The Minnesota native is returning to Lincoln to play a fifth year with the Huskers.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska women’s basketball guard Sam Haiby is returning to Lincoln to play a fifth year with the Huskers. The Moorhead, Minnesota native ranks No. 15 on Nebraska’s all-time scoring list (1,381) and eighth in career assists (414).

This season Haiby scored a season-high 20 points against Gonzaga in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. She also received All-Big Ten honorable mention while helping the Huskers to a 24-9 overall record.
