Two arrested after pursuit, fight with Nebraska State trooper
They were arrested on suspicion of numerous offenses.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were arrested after a fight with a Nebraska state trooper during a traffic stop over the weekend.
On Saturday around 7:20 p.m., a trooper saw a Chevy Impala fail to yield the right of way as it exited Interstate 80 onto Highway 2 just southeast of Grand Island, the Nebraska State Patrol said.
The trooper began a pursuit after the driver, 23-year-old Dylan Valdez, refused to pull over.
Valdez turned west onto a county road and eventually lost control of the vehicle and drove into a ditch. Valdez and a passenger, 31-year-old Logan Korb, exited the vehicle and ran.
A trooper caught up with Valdez shortly after, and a fight began between the two, according to NSP.
Eventually, the trooper was able to gain control of Valdez and took him into custody.
During the fight, Korb returned to the vehicle, grabbed a backpack and ran away, NSP said.
Troopers eventually found Korb and took him into custody. They then searched the backpack and found unknown pills, marijuana, a knife and drug-related items.
NSP lodged both Valdez and Korb into the Hamilton County Jail on suspicion of numerous offenses.
