Local non-profit brings hope to those who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss

October marks Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. The community united Sunday night to remember their little loved ones.

The Nebraska based non-profit called Connected Forever hosted their first annual event, ‘Remembering our Angels.’

It all happened downtown in the Railyard. The event provided people with support to families who have experienced any type of pregnancy or infant loss.

“You are not alone and everyone’s story is different but other people can hold your story and by sharing that story with others, you deepen your connection with your child,” Be Remembered, Kerri Denell said.

The non-profit hopes families are able to connect over their commonality of experiencing the loss of a little one and bring hope to each other as they continue on their journey.
