Nebraska softball cracks top 25 in national poll

D1Softball ranked the Huskers as No. 21 in the country on Monday following another conference sweep.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska softball has caught national attention as the Huskers enter the top 25 rankings for the first time this season.

D1Softball placed Nebraska at No. 21 in the nation on Monday following the Huskers’ sweep of Minnesota this past weekend. The Big Red remains undefeated in Big Ten play while riding an 18-game win streak.

The Huskers improved to No. 27 in the RPI rankings while receiving votes in every other poll. They travel to Madison to face Wisconsin (23-11) this weekend in a three-game series.
