Raindrops possible Wednesday before cold front passes

A mild night coming to southeast Nebraska as a warm from lifts through the region.  Temperatures will only drop off to the upper 40°s before climbing in to the low 50°s by sunrise.  Winds will continue gusting 40+ mph overnight.  If you usually set out garbage cans Tuesday night for Wednesday morning pick-up, you may want to wait until morning.

Winds will gust to 35 mph out of the south through the first half of Wednesday.  Skies will remain cloudy for the morning.  Scattered showers will be possible, especially for along and east of a line from Wahoo to Lincoln to Beatrice.  Rain showers will be possible through noon.

A cold front will slide through southeast Nebraska Wednesday, pushing showers in to Iowa and Missouri during the early afternoon.  It will also aid in moving clouds out and allowing sunshine to pop out.  This will help warm temperatures in to the upper 60°s and lower 70°s.
