Lincoln man found with meth after threatening group in Taco Bell parking lot
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested Saturday after he threatened a group with a knife in a Taco Bell parking lot, Lincoln Police say.
Around 11:20 p.m., officers were sent to the Taco Bell near 27th and Cornhusker on a report of a disturbance.
A group of three told officers that 35-year-old Michael Chandler had approached their car after going through the Taco Bell drive-thru.
Chandler began hitting the car with his hands and asked the group if they had seen his dog.
As they started to drive away, Chandler showed a knife and began to chase the vehicle, Lincoln Police say.
Officers eventually found Chandler and found him with a knife, drug-related items, and 1.5 grams of meth.
He was then arrested on suspicion of terroristic threats, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, possession of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon, and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
