Local organizations hold a food and wellness festival

United Health Care partnered with local organizations to put on a healthy food distribution event.

"Today we have the community food and wellness festival. It’s part of the Nebraska food smart families team activation event," said Kayla Colgrove, a Food and Nutrition Health educator.

The event held a farmers market food distribution to those in need.

They provided the community with access to nutritious food and educational resources for a healthier lifestyle.

Saturday’s event was free and open to the public.
