Lincoln Police: Woman’s dog stolen outside Casey’s General Store

Lincoln police is investigating a report of a dog stolen in the parking lot of a Casey’s General Store on Thursday.

According to LPD, a woman reportedly saw her dog being taken by three people in a car in the parking lot of the Casey’s General Store near 70th and Havelock street.

Police said the dog was not on a leash.

The woman told police that she yelled at the people trying to take her dog, but they grabbed the dog and drove away with it anyway.

LPD said video surveillance at the gas station was not able to capture the incident.
