Go Fund Me page set up for UNL band member

Husker Nation suffered a tragic loss Friday night when marching band member Tyler Butterfield was killed in a motor vehicle accident.
Some of the most influential officials in the state have offered their condolences, including Governor Pete Rickets and Huskers coach Scott Frost.
Friends and family say he was a friend to all, and he wouldn’t hesitate to help someone in need.
The accident happened Friday night when a car accident on the corner of S 10th and Arapahoe.
Tyler Butterfield, a junior accounting major from Norfolk, Nebraska, was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was a trumpeter in the Cornhusker marching band.
On Monday husker football coach Scott frost said a few words on Tyler’s behalf.
“We have heavy heart after hearing about Tyler Butterfield and the accident that happened before the game. You never want to see anybody go before their time, and our hearts and thoughts and prayers are with the family.”
A go fund me page has been set up for funeral expenses for the Butterfield family.
In just one day, the page has raised over $7,000 thousand dollars.
