Day of the Dead celebrated in Lincoln
Lincoln celebrated the Day of the Dead on Sunday.
The Nebraska History Museum, The Bennett Martin Public Library and the UNL student union all hosted Day of the Dead themed activities.
They included music, folk dance, face painting and more!
The Mexican holiday is a day of celebration and remembrance for those who lived before us.
“It’s a day when we connect with those who have passed on before us. It’s not such a sad day, its really a day of celebration,” said Sharon Kennedy with the Nebraska History Museum.
