Lincoln man has a special passion for Christmas lights
One Lincoln man goes above and beyond to get his home into the holiday spirit each year.
Jerry Petracek has a special passion for Christmas lights.
He says it takes him two weeks to set up all of his lights each year.
Most of the lights are cut outs that are hand made and painted.
When pressed about how many lights he owns, Jerry said, “I have to have probably 15 to 20 thousand… Everybody laughs at me but I have several boxes in the garage that aren’t even open. I just slowly add, year after year.”
On Sunday there was a special guest in front of the home… Santa Claus himself!
The home has become a hotspot for sightseer’s in the area.
