Lincoln Police investigate vandalism at Nebraska Republican Party headquarters

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)  – Lincoln Police are investigating a vandalism at the Nebraska Republican Party’s headquarters near the intersection of N and 16th Streets.

Investigator Scott Parker says around 2 p.m. on Sunday someone discovered that a suspect had thrown a rock through a window of the building.

Security footage is currently being investigated to identify the suspect.

Parker said police do not yet know if the vandalism is politically motivated.

The department estimates $700 in damage done to the building.
