Nebraska soccer falls to Michigan State in semifinal of Big Ten Tournament
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Nebraska women’s soccer fought hard but ultimately failed to defeat No. 6 Michigan State on Thursday in the Big Ten Tournament.
The Huskers remained tied at 1 with the Spartans until the 65th minute, when Courtney Koehler brought Michigan State ahead with a score.

The Spartans’ defense held strong in the remaining minutes of the match, leading to a shutout of the Huskers in the second half, and MSU beat Nebraska 2-1.
Nebraska ended its season with an 8-7-5 record.
The Huskers had been coming off a shutout of No. 25 Ohio State in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament on Sunday.
Nebraska hadn’t been to a semifinal match since 2018.
