Vehicles will be left in ditches after a tow ban in snow-battered Seward
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Seward Police Department says a tow ban is in effect.
Any vehicles that crash into ditches on Thursday will be left there until weather conditions improve.
Police are stressing the need for everyone to be extra prepared, as the ban makes traveling during the snowstorm even riskier.
The department said multiple law enforcement agencies throughout Seward County were dealing with crashes.
Police say lots of snow mixed with high winds is reducing visibility, making roads hazardous.
They’ve asked everyone to avoid traveling unless it’s absolutely necessary.
