One killed in storm-related crash in Hall County

One person has been confirmed dead in a storm-related crash in northwestern Hall County.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Department, on Wednesday morning at 3:30, deputies responded to a crash in the area of Airport Road and Burwick Road, about 15 miles west of Grand Island.

A pickup was eastbound when it struck a downed tree from the storm.

The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victims name is not being released until family is notified.
