More pets are getting lost in Lincoln; an online tool could help bring them home safe
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Capital Humane Society says it’s seen an increase in lost and found pets over the past week.
Officials with the nonprofit tell us making sure you have proper identification is essential, as is securing your gate.
They’re also reminding owners to familiarize themselves with the CHS Lost and Found Map, which just launched last year.
It’s an interactive tool that shows users where animals have been reported lost or found, and provides details to help you reunite with them.
If you have any questions you can also call the Capital Human Society at (402) 441-4488.
