Teen sentenced to 100 years in delivery driver death

An Omaha teenager has been sentenced to 100 years in prison for helping kill a pizza delivery man last year.

A Douglas County judge sentenced 17-year-old Bryton Gibbs Thursday on charges of second-degree murder, conspiracy and using a weapon to commit robbery.

Gibbs pleaded guilty to those charges in September. Gibbs' mother cried after her son's sentence was announced. Gibbs was 16 when he and three others were charged in the September 2010 robbery and stabbing death of 33-year-old Christopher Taylor.

Authorities say they lured Taylor to a vacant apartment and killed him.
