Strangulation, terroristic threats charges land Nebraska fugitive on wanted list

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Nebraska law enforcement is asking for help catching a wanted man accused of strangulation and terroristic threats.

The Merrick County Sheriff’s Office is encouraging everyone to keep an eye out for Wyatt Barrett.

The 34-year-old is also wanted on suspicion domestic assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Officials say you should not attempt to apprehend him on your own.
