Update: Two men killed in Sarpy County crash identified

Update:

The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Offices says two men killed in a Tuesday morning car crash have been identified.

They’re 24-year-old Dareion Field adn 63-year-old Bobby Ramsey, both of the Kansas City area.

The crash happened at 10:42 a.m. on Highway 34 between Highway 75 and the Missouri River, that’s near Offutt Air Force Base.

A Chrysler Sebring traveling west on Highway 34, crossed the median and collided with a semi-truck that was traveling east on Highway 34.

The two men in the Sebring died at the scene of the crash.

The crash is still under investigation.

BELLEVUE, Neb. (AP) – Eastern Nebraska officials say two men are dead following a crash near Bellevue. The Sarpy County Sheriff’s office says in a news release that the crash happened around 10:40 a.m.

Tuesday on Highway 34 south of Offutt Air Force Base.

Officials say the crash occurred when a westbound car lost control, crossed the median and collided with a semitrailer.

Officials say the driver and a passenger in the car died. Another person in the car was injured, as was the driver of the semi.

The names of those involved had not been released by late afternoon Tuesday. The crash closed a stretch of the highway in both directions for several hours.
