UPDATE: Lincoln murder likely drug-related

UPDATE:
Thursday afternoon Lincoln Police released an update on the homicide investigation near 26th and South streets.
They say the targeted act of violence was likely drug-related. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
LPD says investigators and crime scene technicians have finished processing the scene where 34-year-old Audrea Craig was shot in the chest Wednesday.
Investigators recovered multiple handguns from the scene, including one outside the home.
They are still trying to determine if the death of Martae Green, 26, of Bellevue, is connected to Craig’s death.
Green was dropped off at the hospital with an apparent gunshot wound around the same time as the shooting of Craig.
Medical personnel attempted life saving measures, but Green died at the hospital.
Anyone with information on these cases is encouraged to call LPD at 402-441-6000.
