Police investigating after armed man robbed Omaha bank
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are investigating after a man with a gun robbed an Omaha bank Tuesday afternoon.
Before 3:20 p.m., a man entered Bank of the West near 87th Street and Center Road. He then pulled out a gun and demanded money.
By the time officers arrived, the man had left the area with an “undetermined” amount of money, according to police.
Police have described the man as a tall black male with a “muscular build.” He was seen wearing a black jacket, khaki-colored pants, a hair net and a medical mask.
An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to call Omaha Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP.
Police say tips leading to an arrest are eligible for a $20,000 reward.
