Recall Alert: nightgowns, audiovisual carts and battery back-ups

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Luxor Workspaces is recalling over 84,000 of its Audiovisual carts. Officials say three deaths have been reported, relating to this recall.

The carts can become unstable when loaded with heavy objects, such as cathode-ray tube televisions. The company says the recalled A/V carts pose a tip-over hazard to children, which can result in injury or death.

Contact Luxor for a free repair. The company will provide metal ballast kits, which should be installed by the consumer to the lower shelf of the cart to add stability and weight.

Moen is recalling over 10,000 of its Flo battery back-ups for Flo Smart water monitors. The lithium-ion battery back-up can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

Contact Moen for instructions on how to disable the battery back-up before disposing of the unit in accordance with applicable laws for the disposal of lithium-ion batteries.

Thousands of children’s nightgowns are being recalled on Amazon; imported by Arshiner. The recalled product fails to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

Consumers are being asked to contact Arshiner for a full refund. You will be asked to send a picture of the destroyed recalled nightgown. Arshiner and Amazon are contacting all known purchasers directly.
