LPD: 4 Lincoln Subway restaurants burglarized Monday

Lincoln Police are investigating a burglary spree at Subway restaurants across the city. 

Police said four locations were targeted between the hours of 5-8 a.m. on Monday. 

The first store hit was at 5533 NW 1st Street, where cash register drawers were reported missing just before 6 a.m., police said. A few minutes later, a manager at the 2501 NW 12th location reported a missing cash register drawer and shattered glass. Around 7:15 a.m., officers responded to reports of a broken drive through window at the 5533 O Street location. Finally, officers were called to 201 Sun Valley Blvd. where a drive through window was also smashed. 

Damage estimates are around $500. One of the stores reported a cash loss of $1,000. 

Police are still developing suspects and investigating the incidents as if they are connected.
