BREAKING: Man dies after partial collapse at Nebraska Animal Medical and Emergency Center

Officials said a man has died after a partial building collapse Monday. 

Emergency crews responded around 9:30 a.m. to the Nebraska Animal Medical and Emergency Center near 56th and Old Cheney on reports of a person pinned, in the ceiling, at the scene. 

Fire officials said workers were able to free the victim within minutes of arrival. 

Workers and animals were evacuated from the building. 

No other injuries to people or animals were reported.
