Recall Alert: bunk beds, doorglass inserts and snowmobiles

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Walker Edison Furniture is recalling over 121,000 of its twin over twin bunk beds. The wooden slats supporting the bunk beds can break, posing fall and impact hazards.

If you have the recalled product, contact Walker Edison Furniture to receive a free repair kit consisting of 12 wooden slates and new instructions. The company is also contacting all known purchasers directly.

ODL is recalling over 39,000 of its severe weather doorglass inserts. Under severe weather conditions, such as hurricanes, the adhesive bond holding the doorglass inserts can become separated from the door. The company says this could cause a risk of injury and property damage from windborne debris.

If you have the recalled product, contact ODL to arrange for a free repair by a qualified technician.

Polaris is recalling over 14,000 of its MATRYX RMK KHAOS and PRO snowmobiles. When the rider engages the throttle and brake (including the parking brake) simultaneously, the brake system can overheat in the caliper/pad/break rotor area. The company says this poses a fire hazard and risk of burn injuries to the rider.

If you have the recalled product, contact Polaris or an authorized dealer to schedule a free repair. The company is notifying all dealers and registered owners directly.
