Car, house catch fire at northwest Lincoln home

Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue are investigating a car fire.

LPD and LFR were called to a home on northwest 9th Street around 4 a.m. Sunday after reports of a car and home on fire. 

LFR says the fire started in the car and spread to the home. 

Neighbors say they were woken up by police around 4:10 in the morning and evacuated from their homes until the fire was put out. One neighbor had minor damages to their home.

LFR says that no one was injured in the fire.
