Lincoln Airport hosts open house to show off renovations
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Airport is soaring to new heights with a recently completed renovation project.
On Tuesday, the airport hosted an open house so travelers could get a glimpse of the new additions.
The renovation includes six new passenger gates, a bar and restaurant, and a special flyers club for those who frequent LNK.
“We want them not to drive up to Omaha,” said Rachel Barth, the airport’s spokeswoman. “We want them to stay here, stay local.”
The airport hopes that the renovations benefit the passenger experience and will be a welcoming gift to the new airlines that are set to take flight on June 8.
