Warm and sunny with little humidity and wind
Although cloud cover stuck around for much of Sunday, we eventually saw the sun poke out. That sunshine remains into Monday morning, and we’ll be seeing mostly sunny skies from start to finish.
Although it’s a touch chilly for the morning, we’ll see temperatures rising into the middle and upper-70s by afternoon. Wind and humidity also won’t be an issue.
We will have some ripples in the upper levels of the atmosphere passing to our west and southwest on Monday. While that could bring some showers and storms to parts of the Panhandle and southwest Nebraska, we shouldn’t see any of that in central and eastern Nebraska.
More of the same is expected on Tuesday and Wednesday statewide, and we’ll see temperatures warming with each passing day. Highs near Lincoln will likely be in the middle-80s on Tuesday and near 90° on Wednesday.
Lincoln’s rain chances will be limited until Thursday night. Our best rain chance likely arrives on Friday before things quiet down into Father’s Day Weekend.
