Lincoln man threatened adult store employee with screwdriver, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man wielding a screwdriver was arrested Thursday after he threatened an employee at a Lincoln adult store, police say.

Around 5:40 p.m., an employee at Doctor John’s near 48th and Vine Streets told 59-year-old Daryl Stokebrand to leave the store several times.

Instead of leaving, Stokebrand pulled out a screwdriver and tried to stab the employee.

Police said the employee hit Stokebrand and held him on the ground until officers arrived.

Stokebrand was arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree assault, terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
